For her appearance at the 11th Annual HollyRod Foundation Design Care on July 25th, Ciara made a bold fashion statement that was anything but basic black. This young American recording artist is also a producer, dancer, fashion model and actress with several chart-topping songs to her credit, looked totally stunning is a fitted black leather piped mini-dress with a delicious silk bow encasing her shoulders and bust line. To complete her fashion statement, Ciara wore sensational wrapped ankle spike heel shoes with red accents.

Although many of Ciara’s fans absolutely adored her shoulder length jet-black tresses, she has changed her hairstyle to a short pixie cut which accents her beautiful facial features wonderfully. Taking care to use a versatile layered cut to add height to the crown of her head, she looks chic and sophisticated. The style was finished with a full side-swept fringe bang, cut on an angle to cover one eye for a little bit of mystery. Many celebrities have tried to wear this hairstyle but few have been able to pull off this look with same amount of panache as Ciara.

The dramatic impact of this body-hugging dress called for simply fabulous makeup; Ciara used a gold tone blush to accent her cheekbones, lush black mascara and eyeliner and carefully arched eyebrows to make the most of the fringe bang. For an evening out with hundreds of celebrities, Ciara’s hairstyle and wardrobe selection was a definite head-turner worn beautifully by this star that has always been known for her funky sense of style.
